I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker that’s been obsessed with beauty since I first got my hands on a tube of lipstick at four years old. 30+ years later, I’m still researching and trying anything I can, whether that’s makeup and fragrance or clinical skincare and medical aesthetics procedures.
I fell in love with beauty as a consumer, and that consumer-first perspective informs all of my work in the industry today. I step into the identity of each brand I partner with, using their persona to speak to the consumer and say the words they want to hear. That could be a fun, pithy tagline for a lipstick launch or explaining a science-heavy aesthetics concept like exosomes to someone who struggled through bio and chem.
If words are involved, chances are I’ve done it before. (Campaign storytelling for global, social media-famous brands; speechwriting for C-suite beauty executives; celebrity profiles for high-traffic outlets; developing and naming bestselling products…you name it.) My storytelling and copywriting have translated into profits for my clients—so if you’d like a word with me, reach out to learn how my words can help your business grow.
I love getting to know new people, what can I say?

I genuinely love beauty.
When I’m not working, you can probably find me researching obscure fragrances, milling through the aisles of Ulta or Sephora—I was the preteen doing that before it was cool!—or reading about new aesthetic treatments. It’s not working if you love it!
I’m a classically-trained musician.
While I studied opera in college and grew up playing piano, I now only do both for fun (I sing a mean “Happy Birthday”).
I’m a foodie.
You’ll often find me cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants, here and abroad; I believe cuisine is one of the best ways to experience different cultures. I also believe that every culture has a dumpling and I want to try them all.
I’m a cat mom.
I found my rescue Siamese—as well as my husband, for that matter—on the internet. Both have brought immeasurable joy and affection to my life. Only one of them throws up on my jute rug.
I split my time between New York City and the Connecticut Shoreline.
These locales have turned me into a professional people watcher and amateur birdwatcher, respectively.

It’s not always easy to express yourself, especially in writing, and especially when you’re too close to a project (this launch is your baby!) or are in a time crunch. That’s the beauty of hiring me as your consultant: I’ll jump in and handle it, so you can focus on the bigger picture. Words tell a story—let me find the right ones to tell yours.
You’ve heard about me—now I want to hear about you.
